Short History

Biroidakuni High School is a Catholic secondary school under the Mymensingh Diocese, Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest and famous educational institutions in Mymensingh district, established in 1941 by the Brothers Holy Cross. Brother Andrew Joseph F. Stefes, CSC was the founding headmaster of the institution. This institution is administered by the Brothers of Holy Cross in Bangladesh. There are 500 students and 29 teacher staffs including four Brothers in the school. The majority of the students are Garo Indigenous people who are deprived from proper education. Holy Cross Brothers are trying to spread out the light of education in that area as educators of the faith.
