The St. Joseph Province of the Congregation of Holy Cross joyfully celebrated a sacred milestone as Brother Martin Biswas, CSC, Brother Patrick Hadima, CSC, and Brother Ankon Rebeiro, CSC professed their Final Vows, marking their lifelong commitment to a consecrated life of service to God and His people.
The two-day celebration began on January 16, 2025, with a Blessing Ceremony at St. Christina Church. The event opened with Holy Adoration, setting a tone of prayerful reflection. Accompanied by carol singing, the three candidates processed into the St. Joseph Campus, warmly welcomed by Holy Cross Brothers, Sisters, and their families. A special moment of the ritual was the traditional chandan tilak blessing, symbolizing divine grace and spiritual protection—a powerful reminder of the communal support that underpins their journey.
On January 17, 2025, in a solemn and joyous ceremony, the three Brothers professed their Final Vows in the presence of the Bishop, Holy Cross Brothers, Sisters, Fathers, and their loved ones. This sacred event, filled with heartfelt prayers and blessings, was a profound celebration of their complete dedication to the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience. The Bishop’s words of encouragement highlighted their unwavering commitment to the mission of the Congregation of Holy Cross.
Their Final Vows represent a commitment to live out faith, hope, and love in service to others. As Brother Martin, Brother Patrick, and Brother Ankon begin this sacred chapter, we join in prayer and thanksgiving, seeking God’s abundant blessings on their journey ahead.
Their devotion is a shining example of the transformative power of faith and the enduring mission of the Holy Cross community to build a world of compassion, solidarity, and spiritual growth.
Let us congratulate and pray for these Brothers as they embark on this sacred and inspiring path.
