In a historic move to enhance global communication and collaboration, the Congregazione di Santa Croce held its inaugural Zoom meeting for the Congregational Communication Liaisons. Guided by Brother Adolf Mugume, C.S.C., Director of Communications, this meeting marked the beginning of a new era in how the Holy Cross community shares its mission and message with the world. The virtual gathering brought together Holy Cross confrères from various jurisdictions, creating a platform for unified communication across continents.

The meeting was graced by the presence of Very Reverend Br. Paul Bednarczyk, C.S.C., and Fr. Andrew Gawrych, C.S.C., who both offered profound insights and encouragement to the participants. The primary objective of forming this communication liaison group is to ensure that the news, celebrations, congregation feasts, and educational events of the Holy Cross Congregation are shared globally. This initiative reflects our commitment to walking side by side as a united community, amplifying the voices and stories of Holy Cross from all corners of the world. In his opening remarks, Brother Adolf emphasized the importance of effective communication in strengthening the bonds within our global congregation. He highlighted the potential of this liaison group to create a more connected and informed Holy Cross community, where every jurisdiction can share its unique experiences and contributions. Very Reverend Br. Paul Bednarczyk, C.S.C., expressed his excitement about this new venture, noting that it aligns with the congregation’s mission to educate, evangelize, and bring hope to the world. He encouraged the liaisons to embrace this opportunity to build bridges between our communities and to share the rich tapestry of Holy Cross life with a wider audience. Fr. Andrew Gawrych, C.S.C., added his thoughts on the spiritual significance of this initiative, reminding us that our work in communication is not just about sharing information but also about nurturing the spirit of unity and fraternity within the congregation.

As we embark on this journey together, we are reminded of our shared mission and the strength that comes from our unity. The creation of this communication liaison group is a testament to our commitment to walking side by side, sharing our stories, and spreading the light of Holy Cross to the world. We invite all members of the Holy Cross family to join us in this endeavor, to share their news, and to celebrate the milestones and achievements of our global community. Together, we continue to walk side by side, united in our mission to serve and to spread the message of hope.
